St. Bartholomä at Königssee

In the south of the Berchtesgadener Land wait world-famous sights and fascinating natural beauties. Like a fjord, the Königssee winds its way through the only Alpine National Park in Germany with its crystal-clear water. On the crossing to the peninsula of St. Bartholomä with the Baroque pilgrimage church and its red onion domes you can hear the famous Echo. Here you can also experience golden eagles, deer, marmots and countless plants, which develop undisturbed since 1978 in the 210 square kilometer protected area around King Watzmann (2713m).

Eagle's Nest

Most visitors to Kehlsteinhaus use the spectacular bus route from the departure point on the Obersalzberg. But also on foot you can reach the promising mountain. From Rossfeldstraße a simple hiking trail leads on a paved side street to the former tea house of the ns-diplomats.
The Kehlsteinhaus is one of the most visited excursion destinations in Bavaria: The mixture of a historic monument and an exceptional geographical location is a crowd puller, the English name Eagle's Nest arouses curious expectations.

Saltmine Berchtesgaden

Deep inside the Berchtesgadener Salzberg a hidden world waits to be explored. A world that miraculously reflects the diversity of events around the salt, its history and its meaning. A place where salt is still extracted today. The salt mine Berchtesgaden, the newly designed adventure mine.
Embark on a mysterious journey into the treasury of humanity. On an excursion through the history of the earth, fantasy, effective staging and exciting information that you will not just experience in the course of the salt-time journey, but experience it with all your senses. A salt-time journey from the past into the future, which continues on the footpath to Bergmandl in the Pulverturm and to the 350-year-old "Moserrösche" tunnel. An experience to amaze, to rejoice, to return, that fades away with a cozy stay on the salt terrace on the roof.

Watzmann Therme

Small or big, here is something for everyone! On a water surface of 900m², the family-friendly spa combines relaxation, bathing fun and sport in a variety of ways. For all water rats in the WATER landscape there is an adventure pool with a lazy river, an 80-meter slide and a sports pool. Families with smaller children find their own water world in the colorful parent-child area.
An oasis for all those seeking relaxation is the spacious, redesigned SAUNA landscape. 5 saunas with different themes heat up the guests there - for example, the rustic-cozy panoramic sauna, which offers an unrestricted view of the Berchtesgaden mountains, or the mine sauna in mining optics. With steam bath, infrared cabin, wellness and massage offers and a rich gastronomy you will find pure well-being here.

Roßfeld/Zinken (835 – 1550 m)

The Roßfeld is undoubtedly the most snow-sure family ski area (natural snow) in the Berchtesgadener Land. Four ski lifts open up well-kept alpine and a separate snowboard slope with halfpipe and fun park.
The ski run to Oberau is 6 km, a RVO shuttle runs between Oberau and Roßfeld. New is the composite map of the Roßfeld ski lifts with the RVO shuttle bus: day ski pass "Oberau-Roßfeld".
The Roßfeld-Skihütte with its large sun terrace serves traditional Bavarian dishes. The Roßfeld panoramic road leads into an impressive mountain landscape with panoramic views of the Berchtesgaden Alps and far into the Salzburger Land.

Götschen (880 - 1307 m)

Surrounded by the beautiful mountain landscape with an unobstructed view of the Lattengebirge lies the Götschen ski area.
Here alpine top athletes meet regularly for national and international competitions, but also pleasure skiers and families with children, because the Götschen also convinces as a versatile family Ski Area!
Perfectly groomed slopes ensure enjoyable downhill runs. It will be particularly appealing if you wave at night skiing on well-lit snow slopes into the valley. A hearty stop in the mountain guesthouse "Götschenalm" with sun terrace guarantees exclusive views of the majestic mountains.

Hochschwarzeck (1030 - 1385 m)

Skiing is a pleasure - especially if you can! At the Hochschwarzeck, the ski paradise for young and old, you will find ideal conditions to become a skier: easy and clean runs in the middle of a wonderful mountain landscape. The ski, snowboard and cross country school with its own equipment rental offers courses for all levels.
The Hochschwarzeck winter sports offer has something for everyone. In addition to the ski opportunities, you will find a well-developed toboggan run - the Hirscheckblitz toboggan run - and a wonderfully located cross-country ski run. The gastronomic offer is varied and there is ample parking.

Gutshof-Obersalzberg (900 - 1050 m)

The inexpensive family ski area Gutshof, formerly known as Skytop, is located directly on the Obersalzberg. Here, the skiers will find ideal conditions. A snowmaking system ensures the best snow conditions. The panoramic restaurant offers excellent cuisine.
Enjoy a few minutes' drive from Berchtesgaden away carefree skiing and a unique view.
The ski and snowboard school, as well as equipment rental complete the service.
